Background Experience
- Over twenty years experience within the finance sector at operational and senior management level covering lending, private and commercial banking, marketing, HR and training.
- Three years in the research and sales sector managing research and training projects for the finance, pharmaceutical and car industries.
- Four years in the education sector as deputy director responsible for operations and HR.
- Fourteen years with the Newspaper Society covering all aspects of:
- Employment Law
- Industrial Relations
- HR
- Health and Safety
- Training
- The development of Occupational Standards in Journalism and Advertising and Sales for the Newspaper Industry
- Four years as a consultant to regional and local press clients, covering employment law, HR, health and safety and management training.
Experience Within The Media Sector
- Providing a wide range of advice, legal and non-legal, on all aspects of HR, employment law and health and safety.
- Representing clients at employment tribunals with a high success rate in settling claims.
- Acting successfully in resolving employee/employer disputes.
